What we collect, why, and your choices
1. Overview
Sheeplz.com is a financial education website. We do not sell your personal information, and we collect as little as we can. This policy explains what is collected when you visit the site and how you can control it.
2. What we collect
- Usage data (Google Analytics). We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how the site performs. It collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location (city or region), your browser and device type, and a random identifier stored in a cookie. Google may process this data on our behalf according to its own privacy policy.
- Nothing else. Sheeplz.com has no user accounts, payments, comments, sign-up forms, or tracking pixels from advertising networks. If you join our Discord server, Discord's privacy policy applies there.
3. How we use it
We use analytics to improve our chapters and fix problems with the site. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers named above.
4. Third-party services
- Google Analytics, described above.
- Google Fonts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request (including your IP address) to Google's servers.
- Discord and social networks. Links to Discord, Instagram, LinkedIn, GitHub, and X take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
5. Retention
Google Analytics data is retained according to our analytics settings (currently up to 14 months for user-level data).
6. Your choices
- Block or delete analytics cookies in your browser, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Ask us to delete anything you have shared with us using the contact details below.
7. Children
Sheeplz.com is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
